Why TouRoule? :
Every year in France, over 1.2 million agricultural workers are involved in more than 70,000 occupational accidents, over a hundred of which are fatal, placing the profession on the podium of the highest-risk occupations. Within the agricultural sector, viticulture itself ranks third.
In addition to the impact on workers' health, accidents cost farms dearly (loss of production, disorganization, material damage, fines...): on average between €1,000 and €5,000 per worker per year.
TouRoule supports agri-viticultural companies in meeting the challenges of prevention and safety in the workplace, by simplifying the management of these challenges for their employees, thanks to a system connected to both men and machines.
Our system:
TouRoule is developing a digital tool to prevent, stop and speed up the handling of agricultural accidents.
We are developing a "smart" box the size of a credit card to be worn by workers; with no need to be recharged, our system represents a minimal additional workload.
Our proposals:
- Prevent risks without restricting the work of teams, in order to protect workers in their activities (crushing, securing maneuvers and machines, etc.).
- Alert workers quickly in the event of a serious problem, to reduce the consequences of incidents (injury, commuting accident, fall, CO2 poisoning, illness in the field, etc.).
- Raise awareness of best practices in real-life situations, to prevent incidents (automatic and specific safety points depending on activity, season, bad practices, etc.).
- Supervise safety throughout the operation, reporting on identified risks. (heat, noise, working at height, machine and vehicle risks, etc.).
