BIENESIS offers the 1st multi-hazard climatic protection system for vines, with no constraints or compromises, reducing production losses by 80% and limiting the use of phytosanitary products.
The BIENESIS solution is the product of 24 months of R&D at the Michelin Innovation Lab and a Proof Of Concept (POC) in 2024 in Burgundy.
It meets very precise specifications, co-constructed with the entire winegrowing industry, including :
- Ephemeral, retractable protection deployed solely to prevent a destructive climatic hazard, with no impact on the microclimate;
- A modular solution that can be adapted to each plot of land, limiting replacement costs in the event of damage, and facilitating gradual adoption (e.g. targeting priority areas);
- A solution integrated into the vineyard, both in terms of visual integration into the landscape and compatibility with the passage of agricultural machinery;
- A connected object that can be triggered automatically or via a mobile application (data-driven optimization, reactivity, peace of mind, no manpower required).
